Single action 5 notch black powder percussion revolver, Features, Front blade sight, Round barrel, Hinged loading lever, Plain wooden grips lacking inspector markings, Mismatch serial numbered cylinder, however, they were regularly swapped during battle, Barrel Length, 7 7/8". SN:28124. Condition: Good. Good bore with usual light worn rifling and light aged pitting throughout, Cylinder locks up with light play and index's correctly, All metal shows near total finish loss and left in the white, Metal surfaces shows few faint specks of aged pitting overall, Grips are solid free of cracks and breaks with usual light dings and may have been refinished. Single action models were produced between serial number 23,000-31,000 and manufactured between 1861-1863.
