This finely crafted three-dimensional mixed-media relief painting is an original work by Aaron Zook. This round-format relief painting depicts a classic harvest time farm scene, centered on a field filled with upright corn shocks; a hallmark of traditional Pennsylvania agricultural practice. Beyond the foreground, meticulously sculpted barns and farmhouses sit nestled into rolling hills, illustrating Zook’s signature blend of carved depth and painterly detail. The trees framing the scene and the layered landscape elements enhance the sense of perspective, drawing the viewer’s eye toward the distant countryside. Zook’s work is known for its harmony of warm rural tones, textural contrast, and narrative charm; qualities on full display in this piece. This example is mounted in a traditional circular wood frame, which complements the natural palette of the artwork and highlights the relief’s dimensional structure. The frame provides an attractive and ready to display presentation tailored to collectors seeking authentic, well-preserved examples of Zook’s work. A beautifully executed and highly collectible piece, this Aaron Zook relief painting captures the pastoral tranquility of rural Pennsylvania with the depth, texture, and craftsmanship that define his lasting artistic legacy. Dimensions: 9" round. This piece is part of a set of four paintings, one for each season of the year. The other three parts are being sold as lots 2, 3, and 4.
