Evoking the quiet charm of pastoral life, “Country Living” presents a classic farm panorama rendered in a warmly nostalgic style. A weathered stone bank barn with red board siding anchors the left mid-ground, while a tidy white farmhouse rises on the distant knoll across a gently curving split?rail fence. In the foreground, two Holstein cows graze near a reflective farm pond, their black-and-white coats providing lively contrast against the soft greens of the pasture. High, cottony clouds and a few winging birds complete the serene rural atmosphere. This work blends traditional painting with hand-applied, low-relief elements to create depth and texture; notice the subtle three-dimensionality of the cows and landscape details as well as the artist’s use of decorative preserved moss both on the picture surface and integrated into the rustic frame. The result is a tactile, diorama-like scene that sits pleasantly between fine art and Americana folk craft, ideal for country, farmhouse, and lodge interiors. Dimensions: 29.25" x 24.75" x 2.75"D
