Hand-crafted three-dimensional folk art relief by Pennsylvania artist Aaron Zook, depicting two children tending newly hatched chicks in a farmyard. One child stands holding a chick while another gathers chicks into a basket beside a white picket fence. In the background, a traditional farmhouse and red bank barn are nestled among flowering trees and plants, creating an idyllic rural scene. Zook uses layered relief carving to create impressive depth within the intimate composition. The arched canopy of flowering branches naturally frames the figures, while bright spring colors and carefully modeled details bring the scene to life.
